Two things: First, as a lacto-ovo-vegetarian, I’ll skip the chicken and take the egg. Second, and to the question, my answer is the same. A mommy and a daddy each with slightly different traits, but just the right traits, contributed an egg and a sperm to hatch the first chicken.
