  1. Pain aux raisins, which is laminated (croissant) dough rolled into a spiral with almond cream and raisins as the filling. There are maybe 3 bakeries I know of in the TC area that make this treat, but you can find it in most bakeries in France.

  2. I’ve grown quite fond of something that I don’t remember ever seeing in bakeries while growing up in the Midwest (not that I often frequented bakeries when I was a child), but is fairly common in Italian bakeries here in the Boston area: the Ricotta Pie. I’ll look for it if I’m ever in a nearby bakery.

  3. Cinnamon Rolls. My Mom made them to perfection. And she loved to eat them, too.
A cinnamon roll is a sweet roll commonly served in Northern Europe and North America. In Sweden it is called kanelbulle, in Denmark it is known as kanelsnegl, in Norway it is known as kanelbolle, skillingsboller or kanelsnurr, and in Finland it is known as korvapuusti. In Austria and Germany it is called Zimtschnecke. from Wikipedia
