  1. I haven’t really given it a lot of thought, but I’ve always assumed I would retire at the typical retirement age in the U.S., around or after 65. But then, right now I don’t really have a career to “retire” from.

  2. Our household is actually trying to figure this out right now. Sorry, no answer yet. But I’ll admit that a slightly earlier than average retirement is what I would want. I’ve got big plans for when I can fully plan my days according to my desires.

  3. At first I thought that’s easy enough – never! But I did “retire” in 2018 from my part-time job so that I would have the freedom to work for justice in my church and the wider community, as well as minister to the disabled. I’m also taking more responsibility for housework and trying to be a more loving and engaged husband, father, and grandfather. (I should have listed that as my first priority).

  4. Probably retiring within the next year (age 61 me, 62 spouse)… but the cost and availability of health care coverage is a concern.

We are privileged to be able to even consider “retirement”
