I like to think of myself to be logical, so I wish I could say that I didn’t believe in superstitions.
I don’t know that I would say they were superstitions, exactly, but I tend to pick out favorites: a favorite fork, a favorite seat, a favorite side of the bed. These often don’t have any basis in reality; they are my “favorite” because I happened to do or use them once.
Periodically, I find myself knocking on wood when hoping for and acting to create a better future/outcome. Also, I am scared of darkness — because that’s where the monsters live.
