Is this even a question? Of course, monsters exist. If my house is dark, there’s almost always a monster seeking to devour me before I reach a light switch or my bed. And regarding bed, if it’s dark, I can’t get into bed fast enough. Monsters are ready to grab my feet and pull me into their terrifying grasp. And moving to another house would solve nothing. All houses have monsters waiting for darkness to set.
