I’ve jumped out of an airplane once. What an amazing rush of adrenaline, at first, and then a feeling of incredible peace as I parachuted to the ground. Despite that, I think I’ve checked it off my bucket list.
Probably my bike ride across the country. It was awesome, and I can certainly see myself doing other lengthy bike tours, but I don’t know that I need to do another coast-to-coast trip.
Nine years ago I climbed Aconcagua with some friends. it was very rewarding and parts of it were very difficult. I would love to visit that part of Argentina again and even hike on the mountain. But I have no desire to attempt that summit.
Raised children. Done it. Don’t want to have to raise a grandchild or foster someone.
As the parent of a four-year-old I can see that. Babies are cute but I’m done with taking care of one.
