I am an advocate for social justice issues. I conduct my work primarily at the Minnesota State Capitol. I get an adrenaline rush when the legislation I am working on makes a huge stride forward. For example, if I find a legislative champion (author) for my bill(s), if my bill(s) get voted on favorably by a committee, or if my bill(s) pass off the floor of the Minnesota House or Senate, I feel that whoosh of energy that comes from adrenaline rushing through my brain and through my bloodstream.
