I’m an accumulator. Not just physical things, like CDs, graphic novels, DVDs, books, and comic books, but also immaterial things like experience and knowledge.
Books are the main things. As I like to say: When I was younger, the library was my home away from home. Now that I’m older, my home is like a library away from libraries.
Nothing comes into our house without something going out; and periodically, we purge a big box or two of things that we no longer want to the curb. Rebecca and I are well aware that when we die, people will want very little of what we have.
