While they are “two great tastes that taste great together,” dark chocolate nudges out peanut butter bye a hair.
My suspicion is that most people will select chocolate. For some reason, it seems like chocolate inspires a fervor that peanut butter cannot match.
So I’m going to opt for what I think will be a somewhat controversial opinion and choose peanut butter. I eat it more frequently, on English muffins or in smoothies for breakfast, and even for a snack with celery sticks.
I like chocolate just fine, but if I have to pick one or the other (and apparently I do), I’ll go with the one I consume more frequently.
And of course, the best is a combination of the two. My wife and I handed out peanut butter cups at our wedding.
