As a biker, I have a love/hate relationship with hills. They can be a real drag, no doubt about it.
However, they also offer amazing beauty, in addition to an opportunity to test yourself, to see what you are capable of.
When biking, there is nothing better than to have a flat surface and a tailwind. You almost float along. It feels practically magical. Admittedly though, it would be boring to have noting but flat all the time.
I guess I’ll give a slight edge to hills, although it is really a very difficult decision.
