I am a nerd in the traditional sense, loving facts, studying them, and eager to dispense them.
I am also an heirloom and open-pollinated gardening nerd. I love the diverse varieties of traditionally bred seeds, which produce a range of colors, textures, and nutritional values within the same vegetable lines. Every Monday, people ask me what I did over the weekend; the answer is almost always, “I spent a wonderful time in my heirloom garden.”
