I tend to think that I am in a constant state of becoming. Every person I meet, ever fact I learn, every conversation I have, helps me to become the person I am at this very moment.
But I can’t deny that there is an element of revelation going on as well. I find that there are patterns in my behavior that stretch back decades, and some of the ways I respond to things that happen to me now echo across time and mirror my previous self.
I love to learn. I love to experiment. I must be in a constant state of becoming, right? Personally, I may identify that way. But I am also very transparent. To others, it must seem like I’m always revealing.
