If it’s not going to create much destruction, I love a downpour. I even like being caught in the middle of one if I’m not carrying valuables.
I have to go with downpour on this one. While getting drenched is no fun, watching a heavy, soaking rain (and even a thunderstorm) from a dry vantage point is awesome. Add to that a passing storm often indicates the breaking of a heat wave, and it’s a no-brainer.
I agree on the downpour, and that’s after having been caught on my bike in one more than once.
