Having a third child, though I didn’t know it at the time. I lost a lot of blood and almost died.
While it doesn’t sound like a risk at first, I’ll say that committing to an intermittent fasting diet to get to and maintain a healthy weight was a pretty big risk. Why? Because nearly everyone who tries to loose weight eventually puts the weight back on (and more) because biological reasons (in other words, not from a lack determination.). Thankfully, thus far the fasting is working. Been doing it for several years.
Other than that, I’ve done (tandem) skydiving once. There’s not a lot of risk there, but it’s pretty intimidating until you’re in the adrenaline-pulsing free fall. I hope to do it again someday.
