Do other lifeforms exist in other solar systems? Absolutely. Would we be able to reach them, recognize them, communicate with them are completely different questions. And if we could reach them, recognize them, and communicate with them, would we consider them enough like us to label ourselves as not alone. We already fail to ascribe enough sentience with so many other lifeforms on earth.
I don’t believe that life evolved here on earth. For me, the shear complexity and order of life and the universe points to an intelligent designer and creator. That being said, do I believe that we are alone in the universe? Yes, and no. I don’t think that there is other so called “intelligent” life on other planets, but I do think that it is possible that other lifeforms may exist on some planets.
