If You Could Live Anywhere, Where Would It Be?

There are many reasons people choose a particular place to live: proximity to family; school or a job; can’t afford to move. But if all those reasons went away and you could choose anywhere to live, where would you go?

Share why if you wish.

  1. I would move to Nice which is in the south of France along the Mediterranean Sea. No hesitation. The weather is amazing. There’s a beautiful, miles-long, beach. And, an amazing old town features twisty, pedestrian walkways and which are jam-packed with activities and the stores don’t feel overly-touristy. You can visit a fresh-food outdoor market nearly everyday (fruits, vegetables, spices). The commercial district is also very pedestrian-friendly. Nearby are Cannes, Eze, and Menton, other cities I love to walk through.

  2. I would choose Istanbul, Turkey if it hadn’t gotten more right wing in the last years. I adore that city and it’s people. Second choice would be somewhere near the coast in Ireland. I could live in audio ecstasy hearing the lilt of Irish the rest of my days!

    1. Trudee, I agree about Ireland, I just came back from there. “When Irish Eyes are smiling…in the lilt of Irish laughter, you can hear the angels sing…”
