I love both plants and animals. But I’d have to say I prefer animals, as they have more personality than plants. Often, you can figure out what an animal is thinking just by watching it’s behavior.
Preferably both, though I tend to visit arboretums more often than zoos (most zoos are just depressing).
Plants are almost as hard to keep alive as pets, and both improve mental health in those who like them.
