  1. Two things:
    1. I’d prepare for and then walk the Camino de Santiago (500 miles) for some serious meditative time.
    2. I’d use the time to study food systems issues and climate change — each separately as well as how our food system impacts climate change. As I learned, I would engage people and try to get them to commit to helping solve the issues.

  2. I’ve essentially been on a sabbatical for the last six years. I’ve made a TV show, started a blog, been a substitute teacher, worked at a bookstore, and biked. A lot.

    Of course, I guess you could argue that in many ways, for many people the pandemic has been kind of like a sabbatical, only with a lot of existential dread.
