While I use earbuds to workout, I get the most enjoyment out of putting on my headphones, silencing the rest of the world, and just taking in my favorite tunes.
My wife Marsha has noise-cancelling headphone that she likes and uses a lot. I’m not sure why, but I’ve never really felt the need to try and shut myself off from the rest of the world.
Maybe it’s because I’m deaf in one ear? Or the fact that when I was young, I would get so lost in a book that rest of the world just faded away. There would still be noise and other distractions, but I just wouldn’t hear it.
Maybe that has carried over to my life as an adult?
I’m not one of those people who obsess on the fidelity of their speakers, and while I do have headphones, they are old and falling apart. So I suppose the choice is earbuds for me.
Speakers all the way. Never got used to the feeling of either headphones or earbuds.
I actually can’t wear earbuds or headphones because I get terrible vertigo when I do. So, it’s speakers for me.
