Dried blueberries (especially with almonds)
I would say my favorite “common fruit” is the cherry. I like fresh cherries, of course, but I’m fond of just about anything cherry-flavored.
The kiwi is my choice for “exotic fruit” (although I don’t know how exotic something is if you can find it most anywhere). I keep forgetting how much I like the kiwi until I have one, then I remember I LOVE them.
Hands down an Asian Apple is my favorite. Always so juicy and I love the texture, firm and soft at the same time.
This is hard because I love different fruits depending on the season.
Spring: Strawberries
Summer: Raspberries
Fall: Persimmons
Winter: Mandarins
I devour cherimoyas when I can get my hands on them. I love trying out new fruits—recently discovered longans at Hmong Village.
Have you tried mangosteen? I found some at my local Asian store. They were pricey but I decided to splurge and give them a try. They were not super fresh but still, very tasty. I imagine they are amazing when fresh.
