Ghosts do not exist. I don’t believe in a dimension of spirits (of any kind) that sometimes crosses into ours.
How do you know that some of the monsters that live under your bed are not ghosts?
Silly, Lee. That’s like asking whether or not an apple is actually an orange. One is not the other. Monsters are living creatures, very much a part of this dimension. Ghosts are not.
I don’t believe in ghosts myself, but people I know and respect believe in them. It is comforting, somehow, to think that someone is still present after they die.
I’ve had a couple of experiences that make me believe something is out there. Most recently, I was up north for the funeral of a former mentee. Since my car CD player died, I’ve been using a USB drive with probably about 3000 songs on it, on random play. Right after I pulled out of the family’s driveway for the drive home, my mentee’s favorite song “randomly” came on.
I’ll answer that with a scripture.
“For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten. Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they no longer have any share in what is done under the sun.” Ecclesiastes 9:5,6.
