I take the stairs whenever possible. I recall that even when I was a little kid, I was fascinated by with the idea of taking the stairs to the top of a large structure, like the Statue of Liberty or the Washington Monument.
Stairs whenever practical (5 flights at my old office). I’ll suggest stairs but not insist, when with others.
I take the stairs nearly every time I have a choice. Two flights up and down at the office, a potential of eight (multiple times) while at the Capitol complex.
