This is an impossible question to answer. I watch thousands of movies made before I was born. I have hundreds of favorites based on genre, director, actor, music, style, etc.
How about today’s version of my top 10?
• A Christmas Carol (1951)
• Bride of Frankenstein
• Casablanca
• Citizen Kane
• Duck Soup
• His Girl Friday
• It’s a Wonderful Life
• Psycho
• Rear Window
• Singin’ in the Rain
I think I’ll go with the James Bond movie Goldfinger. It’s almost certainly the one that I’ve seen the most.
Other notable options include The Wizard of Oz, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Birds, and Dr. Zhivago.
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes….or anything else with Marilyn!
The African Queen made in 1951. With Cathrin Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart. But I love any movie With Cathrin Hepburn in it.
