Days Or Years?

I come down on the side of days. I think the day is one of the most clear increments of time. Seconds, minutes, and hours are shorter, but none of them have any inherent meaning. A day — sunrise to sunset (or sunrise to sunrise, depending on your definition) is simple to grasp.
I also find that setting daily goals — read for an hour each day, for instance — a great way to build habits and accomplish things.
I vote for years because there are fewer of them. Reminds me of Willie Nelson’s song, Funny How Time Slips Away. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZaZqx9v3dU
