Okay, I’m only in my early 50s, but I want to attain a certain level of fitness (i.e., muscle mass, body weight, and rebounding from injury) before aging makes all these things much more difficult. I draw inspiration from an older friend who is retired and works out two hours each day. Right now, partially because of work, I’m only able to devote one hour daily (sometimes I can tack on 30 more minutes) to a mix of cardio and strength training. But I aspire to follow her example when retirement gives me more time.
