You can control how hard you work, and you can’t control how lucky you are. But I think luck probably plays a larger part in people’s lives than they are willing to admit.
Including me. I’ve been incredibly lucky. That doesn’t mean that I haven’t worked hard; I have. But luck is probably more responsible for any success I have had.
I don’t believe in luck. Only consequences and circumstances. Hard work generally results in good results (consequence), but circumstance can negate it.
