  1. I read for about a half hour before I get out of bed in the morning.

    I used to have an elaborate routine for waking up various aspects of mind and body: read for 10 minutes; brush teeth/wash face; work out for 10 minutes; meditate for 10 minutes; practice self-affirmation; roughly plan my day. Only the reading has survived (and expanded).
