  1. For me, I think it is limited to three instances over 50 years:
    1) I was was stopped in Cambridge when I biked through a red light (I received a warning).
    2) In Maine, once I accidentally ended up biking on a highway, which was illegal. I was pulled over and told to get off the highway immediately, but not escorted.
    3) A member of the Arlington police showed up to make a report when I was in a bicycle accident. I was taken away by ambulance, and he took my bike to the police station (Marsha picked it up later).

  2. My answer to this question is irrelevant without comparison to the regular (and regularly unjust) interactions with the police that communities of color experience.
